Dog Owner Faces Arraignment In Pit Bull Attacks
A dog owner will be arraigned in Wayne County Circuit Court on charges that her pit bull attacked a 10-year-old girl and 75-year-old man in Dearborn Heights.
Laura Langston has waived a preliminary examination in 20th District Court. Her next court date is Oct. 27 in Detroit. She's free on a personal bond.
Langston is charged with two counts each of dangerous animal causing serious injury charges.
She is one of three people charged earlier this month following three separate pit bull attacks in Wayne County in August and September.
Defense lawyer William Winters III said Wednesday that Langston is very remorseful for the injuries to the girl and man and wishes it never happened.
