Do You Know This Man? Suspect Sketch Released In Murder Of Troy Gas Station Clerk

TROY (WWJ) - Authorities in Oakland County have put together a composite image, in hopes of catching a man wanted for murder.

Rochester Hills resident, 63-year-old Athir Putres, was working behind the counter at the Clark gas station at 6951 Rochester Road in Troy last Saturday, when he was shot in the head.

A couple of teenage customers discovered Putres' body; and police believe the homicide occurred at around 1:20 or 1:25 p.m.

The suspected shooter is described as a black male, 40 to 50 years old , approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with medium build, and a mustache.  He was last seen at the rear of the gas station at the time of the incident, and was wearing a light gray, mid-thigh length winter parka.
