Disappearing Gum, You Tube, & Zacchaeus Tree

Here's something new to chew on.

It's a brand new kind of "disappearing" chewing gum called Rev7.  British scientists say it dissolves in 24 hours,  although it has the same taste and texture as normal gum.

Scientists believe it will save millions of dollars in street clean ups, among other things.

They think the development could lead to other inventions like---anti-graffiti paint. ###

When you click on You Tube...what are you looking for?

Billboard Magazine says we're mostly looking for Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.
The two of them are  approaching a major milestone of the new music industry: one billion all time You Tube views.

Lady Gaga should get there first, October 20.

Bieber should hit the mark  shortly thereafter.
Their closest competition is Michael Jackson who is currently hovering  around 600 million views.

A huge sycamore near Jericho's main square has long been touted as the tree that the tax collector Zacchaeus climbed to get a glimpse of Jesus.

Now it's taking center stage in a plan to transform the ancient desert town into a tourism hub.

The tree is a featured attraction of a Russian-funded museum complex to be unveiled this month as part of Jericho's 10,000th birthday celebrations.

Tests have shown the sycamore is more than 2,000 years old.

But no one knows for sure if it is THE tree. In the courtyard of a Greek Orthodox church, the huge trunk of a dead sycamore encased in glass is also presented as the biblical tree.
