Detroiter Appears On TV's 'The Voice'
DETROIT (WWJ) - Another Michigan native and current Detroit resident is trying to make it on one of the many music competition shows on TV.
Tony Lucca will appear as a contestant on "Team Adam" Monday night on NBC's "The Voice."
Pontiac-born Tony Lucca, who grew up in Waterford and now lives in Detroit with his wife, Rachel, their son, Liam, and daughter, Sparrow.
Lucca got his start in the entertainment biz early -- as a member of the Mickey Mouse Club, singing alongside Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
After the Mickey Mouse Club, Lucca went to LA for a brief career as an actor, then became a full-time musician, releasing over seven studio albums and five EPs. He is a consistent touring artist and has toured with a multitude of acts, including NSYNC, Josh Hoge, Sara Bareilles, the late Chris Whitley, Matt Duke and Tyrone Wells.
