Detroit Vs. Green Bay
Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy doesn't want to discuss possible playoff scenarios until his team reaches the 10-win mark.
A game against the Detroit Lions should help the Packers move closer to that goal.
Green Bay looks to win a franchise-record 11th straight over the Lions on Sunday at Ford Field.
The Packers (8-4) are one-game back of North-leading Chicago, but find themselves trailing New Orleans and the New York Giants in the NFC wild-card standings. The Giants own the tiebreaker over the Packers because of a better conference record, which makes every remaining NFC game critical for Green Bay.
Although the Packers are in the thick of the playoff picture, McCarthy would like to see his team win 10 games first.
"Like Mike likes to say, we really can't think about the postseason until you win 10," Aaron Rodgers said. "So the immediate goal is going to Detroit and getting a win."
