Detroit To Phoenix Plane Makes Emergency Landing
An aircraft en route from Detroit to Phoenix has made an emergency landing in Colorado Springs after having trouble with one of its engines. Delta Flight 1921 landed at the Colorado Springs Airport Thursday morning.
Airport assistant director John McGinley said crews determined that the Boeing 757 had hot brakes and said its 225 passengers were evacuated on the plane's emergency slides as a precaution. He said two passengers suffered minor injuries during the evacuation and were taken to the hospital.
