Detroit Tigers To Commemorate Miguel Cabrera Home Run Feat
DETROIT – An exciting new promotion has been added to the lineup this season to commemorate a special accomplishment that took place yesterday at Comerica Park. Two innings after already driving one out of the park, Miguel Cabrera connected for the 300th home run of his major league career, becoming only the second player born in Venezuela to collect 300 home runs during his major league career. The only other Venezuelan slugger to have accomplished the feat was Andres Galarraga, who finished with 399 home runs during his major league career.
In order to commemorate this special accomplishment, the Tigers have added an exciting new promotion. On Saturday, September 1st, as the Tigers take on the Chicago White Sox at 7:05 p.m. during a weekend series, the first 10,000 fans will receive a Miguel Cabrera 300th Home Run Poster, courtesy of The Law Offices of Joumana B. Kayrouz, PLLC. Don't miss out on your very own commemorative piece of Tigers history!
