Detroit Tigers Name ALDS Roster
The Detroit Tigers open up ALDS play tonight which you can hear on 97.1 The Ticket starting at 5:10 p.m.
Thursday morning the Tigers released their 25-man roster for the ALDS.
The Tigers will hold 11 pitchers which are relievers Al Alburquerque, Joba Chamberlain, Phil Coke, Kyle Lobstein, Joakim Soria, Anibal Sanchez, Joe Nathan, David Price, Justin Verlander, Max Scherzer and Rick Porcello.
Six infielders are on the roster: Miguel Cabrera, Nick Castellanos, Ian Kinsler, Hernan Perez, Andrew Romine and Eugenio Suarez.
Two catchers: Alex Avila and Bryan Holaday.
Five outfielders: Ezequiel Carrera, Rajai Davis, Torii Hunter, Don Kelly and J.D. Martinez.
The designated hitter is Victor Martinez.
