Detroit Teen Disappears At Bus Stop On Way To Visit Girlfriend

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking the public for help in locating a 17-year-old boy who was last seen at a bus stop on the city's east side.

Kenneth Henderson was last seen on Saturday, June 27 at the bus stop on 7 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue.

Police say Henderson's mother dropped him off at the bus stop so he could visit his girlfriend's house. Henderson was expected to be home by 3 p.m. Sunday, but he never returned.

Henderson, who has never gone missing before, is in good physical condition but suffers from ADHD and depression.

Henderson is described as a black male with a medium complexion, 5'6" tall and 180 lbs. with brown eyes, black hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing black jeans, and a grey Nike sweatshirt with hood.

Anyone with information on Harper's whereabouts is urged to contact police at 313-596-5940.
