Detroit school bus driver injured after hit-and-run crash on Meyers Road

(CBS DETROIT) - A hit-and-run crash involving a school bus happened about 8 a.m. Thursday at Meyers Road and Curtis Street, Detroit Police reported. 

Six children, in addition to the driver, were on the Detroit Public Schools Community District bus, Detroit Police reported. None of the children were injured; the schoolk bus driver reported minor injuries and was treated on scene. 

The driver of a sedan struck the bus, police said.

"The driver fled the scene following the crash. He is still being sought at this time," the report said.
