Detroit Ruin Porn Part Of Message From Tampa Station To Congratulate David Price On Trade To Tigers
DETROIT (WWJ) - Tigers general manager Dave Dombrowski, known as one of the best in the business, made a deal at the deadline to bring Tampa Bay Rays starter David Price to Detroit.
Seems that some in the Florida area are not feeling as generous in their support of the move:
But this tweet from a Tampa Bay based station appears to be backfiring ... with one person responding
"You just don't make fun of a situation like that. I mean, it's just plain wrong," and another tweeted, "Way to make a joke at the expense of thousands of people in the city."
It didn't take long for the response to strike out ... now the link has been taken down.
You can see it here though -- two photos - side by side; one showing an abandoned, dilapidated building presumably in Detroit next to a beautiful beach scene in Florida, with the words "Good Luck, David!"
Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports first reported the Tigers had landed Price, and Jon Heyman of CBS Sports tweeted that the Tigers gave up starting pitcher Drew Smyly and center fielder Austin Jackson as part of a three-way deal with Tampa Bay and Seattle.
