Detroit Police: Someone Knows Something About Shooting Of Baby

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are hoping that someone will provide the tip they need to arrest whoever is responsible for shooting up a house on Detroit's west side, killing a nine-month-old baby.

WWJ's Pat Sweeting reports that Detroit's Police Chief Ralph Godbee is angry over the senseless shooting that led to the death of a Delric Miller early Monday.

"I want to say very definitively to the community, this is the type of crime, somebody talked about it before it happened, somebody had an idea," said Godbee. "Because when you stand in front of a house and pump about 37-40 bullets into a home; there was an intended target."

Police say that the shooting is considered a gang-related shooting and Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5000 for information on this crime. You can call anonymously to report a tip at 1(800) SPEAK-UP.
