Detroit Police Search For Murder Suspect
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a murder suspect.
Police are searching for 21-year-old Tony Horton, who is suspected of killing one person and critically injuring another.
The incident happened on August 10, when police responded to a home on Broadstreet, off Joy Road near I-94 on the city's east side. When officers arrived at the home, they found two males inside of a Chevy Impala who apparently suffered gunshot wounds.
Police believe things went wrong during a narcotic transaction, when they suspect Horton robbed the victims and then fired shots, striking both victims. A 23-year-old male was killed and a 24-year-old male was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Police have issued a warrant for Horton's arrest, who is wanted for first degree murder, felony murder, armed robbery, assault with intent to murder, torture and unlawful imprisonment.
Horton is considered to be armed and dangerous.
