Detroit Police Search For Gunman After 3 Teens Shot
DETROIT (WWJ) - Three teenagers were rushed to the hospital after being shot in an east side Detroit neighborhood.
Police say the shooting happened early Thursday morning outside of a home in the 3700 block Devonshire, near Mack and Outer Drive.
A woman told police her son and his friends were outside in the front yard when someone pulled up and started shooting.
The three teens, ages 13 and 14, were taken to St. Johns Hospital. A mother of one of the victims said one teen was shot in the leg, while the two others were shot in the back.
The mother told reporters she thinks the whole thing stems from an issue between her son and another teenager, and adults apparently getting involved.
Police haven't yet made any arrests and are continuing to search for the shooter.
