Detroit Police Search For Bombs In East Side Neighborhood
DETROIT (WWJ) - A Detroit Police Bomb Squad searched in and around an east side home following an alleged threat.
Police were called to the scene, in the area of Racine and Haynes, after a man in court expressed frustration over his case earlier in the day.
That's when police say the man said he was going to blow up his Detroit house and the house next door.
A Detroit police spokesperson told WWJ Newsradio 950's Kathryn Larson that no incendiary devices have been found so far, but they're taking the man's threat very seriously.
It was not immediately known what charges the man faced in court. His name was not released.
