Man Killed While Riding Bike In Detroit; Police Search For Gunmen In Black SUV
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are scouring the city for a pair of gunmen who fatally shot a 55-year-old man who was riding his bike.
The shooting happened early Wednesday morning at Fenkell Avenue and Tuller Street, in a northwest neighborhood near Livernois Avenue and the Lodge Freeway.
According to police, two men pulled up in a black SUV and started shooting the victim before speeding away.
Other circumstances weren't immediately clear.
Police say it's unclear if the victim was acquainted with the gunmen. His name has not yet been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
