Detroit Police Capture Murder Suspect
Detroit (WWJ)- A Detroit man suspected in a triple shooting on the city's northeast side in November is in jail and facing murder charges.
Detroit police say 33-year old Nasir Banks was arrested Monday by the Fugitive Apprehension Team in the 12600 block of East Seven Mile Road.
Banks is accused of walking into a home on Schoenherr near Eight Mile on November 30th and shooting three men. 20-year old Kalvin Turner and 28-year old Keith High died. A 25-year old was critically injured.
Police say the home is a suspected drug house.
Banks was arraigned Wednesday on two counts of first degree murder, assault with intent to murder, felony firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
If convicted, Bank faces life in prison without parole.
