Detroit Officer Sentenced To Prison For Shots Fired At House
MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. (AP) - A Detroit police officer has been ordered to spend 3 1/2 years in prison for firing shots earlier this year at a northern Macomb County home.
The Macomb Daily of Mount Clemens reports that Clifford Gullion was sentenced Tuesday.
Gullion of Ray Township pleaded no contest last month to using a firearm during a felony and discharging a firearm at a building.
He had been suspended without pay by Detroit police.
Shots were fired at the Ray Township home in April in retaliation for comments made about the officer's wife. No one was wounded.
