Detroit Municipal Building Evacuated
DETROIT (WWJ) - The Coleman A. Young Municipal Center was evacuated, early Thursday afternoon, in downtown Detroit.
Workers standing outside told WWJ Newsradio 950 they saw firefighters with hoses going into the building after smoke was reported in the boiler room.
A Detroit Fire Department crews aired the building out and, by 1:15 p.m., employees were allowed back in.
No injuries were reported.
There was no immediate word as to what the boiler room problem might have been.
