Detroit Mom Pleads For Tips In Son's Murder
DETROIT (WWJ) - Wearing in a t-shirt bearing a photo of her murdered 24 year-old-son Ennis Buford, a heartbroken Detroit mother pleaded on Thursday for information about his December 2nd death.
Varnessa Golson-Bufordis convinced her son knew his killer.
"It was no stranger because he was taught not to stop in the middle of the night for anyone," Golson-Buford said.
Golson-Buford said her son had dropped his friend off at around 1:45 a.m. Nearly an hour later, Ennis Buford's body was spotted by a passerby.
"He took him out of the vehicle and threw him out into the street like he was a piece of paper," she said. "No one deserves that."
Ennis Buford was found in front of a house on Haverhill near Brunswick on Detroit's east side. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
