Detroit Man Charged With Murder In Shooting Of 3-Year-Old Girl

DETROIT (WWJ) - A 24-year old Detroit man has been charged with first degree murder in the death of a 3-year-old girl.

Donnie Everett is accused of the shooting last Thursday that killed Amiracle Williams and injured a 17-year-old girl, a 40 -year-old woman, a 48-year-old man on Detroit's east side.  Police said Amiracle, who was shot in the chest, died at the hospital a short time following the shooting.

In addition to the murder charge, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has also charged Everett with five counts of assault with intent to murder, felon in possession of a firearm and felony firearm.

He was scheduled to be arraigned Monday afternoon in Detroit's 36th District Court.

Detroit Police Chief James Craig said a feud on Facebook led to the shooting, at a home on the 11090 block of Mogul, near Hayes and Outer Drive, the evening of Oct. 16.

On Friday, police said two men were arrested, two other people were questioned and released, and no additional suspects were being sought. The case remains under investigation.
