Detroit Man Charged In Rape Of Ex-Girlfriend
DETROIT (WWJ) - A 26-year-old Detroit man has been charged with in the rape of his ex-girlfriend.
Jerrance Lewis was arraigned Thursday on felony charges for the sexual assault of a 23-year-old woman.
According to police, at around 2 a.m. on Monday, Lewis forced his way into her Deacon Street home and forced himself on her. He was arrested Thursday without incident.
Charges include Criminal Sexual Conduct, Home Invasion 1st degree, Domestic Violence and Habitual 3rd offense. Bond was set at $70,000 cash.
Lewis is expected back in court on Feb 2.
