Detroit Lions Sell Out The Final Preseason Game
Allen Park, Mich.— The Detroit Lions announced this evening that they have reached a sellout for their final home preseason game against the New England Patriots Saturday, August 27 (kickoff set for 8 p.m. ET). By reaching a sellout, the nationally televised CBS broadcast will also air in the local television markets (Metro Detroit, Lansing, Saginaw/Flint and Toledo), including WWJ-TV CBS 62.
Fans still have the opportunity to purchase tickets to Saturday's game vs. New England. A limited number of tickets returned by the Patriots from their ticket allotment are now available to the general public.
Individual game tickets for all 2011 Detroit Lions' regular season home games at Ford Field go on sale Wednesday, August 24 at 10 a.m.
Tickets can be purchased on the Internet, over the phone and in person through various Lions and Ticketmaster outlets. To purchase tickets on the Internet, fans can visit either Detroitlions.com or Ticketmaster.com. For phone purchases, the following toll-free number is available for fans to call and purchase tickets: 800.745.3000.
Fans can also purchase tickets for Lions' regular season games in person at the Ford Field Ticket Office from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
