DETROIT – The Detroit Lions have announced they will seed the Game On Cancer 50/50 raffle pot with $30,000 for Monday Night Football, Dec. 16.
The raffle will begin before doors open in the Pride Plaza on Brush presented by Bud Light at 5:00 p.m. This free event is open to all fans, including non-ticket holders. All fans are welcome to participate in the 50/50 raffle and do not need to be a game-ticket holder to enter, nor do they need to be present to win. The winning number and final pot total will be posted on DetroitLions.com/5050.
Raffle proceeds benefit Henry Ford Health System's Josephine Ford Cancer Institute, its Game On Cancer campaign and the Detroit Lions' Living for the City philanthropic initiative.
This season, the Game On Cancer 50/50 raffle has exceeded expectations, largely in part to fan participation. Since bringing mobile, electronic 50/50 raffling to Ford Field, the Game On Cancer raffle has grossed almost a half million dollars. The last three games have grossed more than $100,000 each.
