Detroit Lions Partner With Uber, Offer Code For Free Ride To Home Game
DETROIT (CBS Detroit/AP) - The Detroit Lions and Uber are offering a special pickup and drop-off point near Ford Field for those using the ride-hailing service for the team's home games.
The team says the location along the northbound East Fisher Service Drive, between Woodward and John R, will now exclusively be used for Uber under the partnership announced Thursday.
The Lions say fans using Uber on gamedays also will be eligible for special Lions' giveaways. And a promotion code is being offered for first-time users -- use code LIONSDET to get one free ride up to $20.
