Detroit Lions Can Still Use Help On DL, At RB In Draft
ALLEN PARK (AP) - By adding two new offensive linemen — one via trade and another with their first-round draft pick — the Detroit Lions bolstered one area of concern.
There are still some more positions of need.
The Lions could use a running back and perhaps some help on the defensive line as they enter rounds two and three Friday night.
Detroit drafted Duke offensive lineman Laken Tomlinson on Thursday night after moving down five spots to the No. 28 pick. In that trade, they also acquired offensive lineman Manny Ramirez from Denver.
After losing Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley to free agency, Detroit may try to add a defensive tackle in the draft, and the offensive backfield is also an issue after running back Reggie Bush was cut.
