Detroit Church Provides Holiday Help To Families In Need
Greater Grace Temple gave away 200 turkeys to families in need as part of its annual giveaway on Sunday.
A woman by the name of Minetinique was among those who picked up a voucher for a turkey. WWJ's Beth Fisher asked how the voucher was going to help her. "To feed my kids for Thanksgiving," Minetinique said.
Those receiving turkeys were asked to attend morning church services first. Some were also filling out forms for a coat and bike giveaway by the church for those in need over the holidays.
