Detroit Church Fire
A two-alarm fire on Detroit's eastside has extensively damaged a church.
Flames spread quickly throughout Ephesus Baptist Church and onto the roof. The building - located at Seven Mile Road and Spencer Street - was reportedly undergoing some renovations at the time of the fire, which broke out shortly before 7pm Friday. According to reports, firefighters had a hard time controlling the blaze because of low water pressure at fire hydrants due to a broken water main nearby.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause remains under investigation.
