Detroit Bank Cleared As Authorities Investigate Suspicious Package
DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities evacuated a bank in Detroit after a suspicious package was found Tuesday afternoon but was later found to be non-threatening.
Eight Mile Road was closed and traffic diverted for several hours while police and the Detroit Bomb Squad investigated at the Chase Bank on Eight Mile near Southfield Freeway.
It's not clear who left the bag but the contents were harmless report police.
