Death Of Grosse Pointe Woods Man Classified As Murder
GROSSE POINTE WOODS (WWJ/AP) - Authorities in metro Detroit say the death of a 54-year-old man found fatally shot in his home has been classified as a homicide.
Grosse Pointe Woods police say the body of Donald Lionel DeWulf was found Monday morning inside his home on the 2000 block of Hampton Road, near Vernier Road and Mack Avenue.
Reports say a family member found DeWulf in the bathroom, hanging from an electrical wire with a gunshot wound to his head.
While the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office has classified DeWulf's death as a homicide, police say there are currently no known suspects.
