Police Seek Suspects In Robbery/Bomb Threat
DEARBORN (WWJ)- Police in Dearborn are looking for two suspects in a bold armed robbery, Wednesday, that forced the evacuation of a strip mall.
Lt. Patricia Penman told WWJ Newsradio 950 that it all started around 10:30 a.m. near Michigan and Greenfield.
"We got a call to the Check 'N' Go about an armed robbery in progress with two suspects armed with handguns," said Penman. "When they fled the store, they indicated that there was a possible explosive in a duffel bag that they left behind, asking the employees not to follow them out the door."
It turned out that there was no bomb, but the suspects are still on the loose.
Police are looking for a dark-skinned black male, 25-30 years old, wearing light-colored blue jeans, a dark blue hoodie and sunglasses (pictured above). He was armed with a black hand gun.
The second suspect is described as a dark-skinned black female, 25-30 years old, also wearing sunglasses. She was armed with a silver handgun.
There were no injuries reported.
