Dealers See Change In Driver Behavior
With higher gas prices, car dealers say they're noticing a change in driver behavior.
WWJ AutoBeat Reporter Jeff Gilbert reports that dealers are saying they're starting to see more customer interest in small cars and again they're finding that customers are asking a lot of questions about fuel economy.
Auto dealers tell Automotive News that it's not up to panic levels yet, but they do see a difference in buying habits.
Not only have gas prices popped well above the $3 mark, but Middle East issues mean more uncertainty. Jeff says more specifics should be known on Tuesday when February car sales are released.
