Deadly Shooting On Detroit's West Side
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit Police are trying to figure out what lead to a deadly shooting on the city's west side.
WWJ's Ron Dewey reports one person was shot dead overnight in the vicinity of an auto body shop at Schoolcraft and Piedmont Street, not far from Evergreen Road.
Details about the victim were not immediately available.
Investigators have cleared the scene, though police patrols have been seen around the area.
No suspects or arrests have been reported, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear as the investigation continues.
