Dancing Usher Making Moves In The Aisle That Go Viral
AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) - Fans may have come to see a basketball game but got much more for their ticket because ... this Pistons Detroit usher can dance!
While Clinton Shannon Sailes Sr thought he was just entertaining a few fans in the his section of the Palace of Auburn Hills but the Dancing Detroit Pistons Usher is in the limelight now -- after achieving national TV fame for his sensational dance moves.
Now, Sailes is getting used to the fame. The Detroit Pistons usher is stepping into a New York City Lincoln Town Car after long day of meetings with the Today show and Inside Edition.
It's all to talk about that moment caught on the jumbo-tron when the 45-year-old father of three took the crowd by storm with Michael Jackson's "Moonwalk."
"I think the camera was panning to someone else, just to show the crowd, and when it panned over there near me, I just started dancing when I saw myself up on the camera," he told WWJ's Kathryn Larson.
Known now by his entertainer name 'Mr Shannon' and the Twitter handle The Dancing Usher ... the Metro Detroiter says he never thought his fancy footwork would go viral -- but he says the best part about all the fame -- he gets to give his mom -- his biggest fan a shout out. "I'd like to say 'hello to my mother Catherine Sailes'," he said.
