Damage Reported After Storm Rolls Through Metro Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - Severe thunderstorm watches and warning were posted for most of the WWJ listening area Saturday afternoon leading to reports of storm damage throughout Metro Detroit.
Trained spotters with the National Weather Service report numerous tree limbs down near Romulus.

Trees and power lines were down in Livonia and Ortonville, in northern Oakland County.
Hail measuring an inch to an inch-and-a-half was was reported in Canton, Livonia, West Bloomfield, and Ann Arbor. Three-quarters of one inch hail was reported near Mt. Clemens and New Baltimore.
A 64-miles per hour wind gust was reported at Metro Airport. Two-inch in diameter hail reported in Ypsilanti, along with wind gust of 63 mph reported near Willow Run Airport.
Oxford area reports 60 mph winds during the storm that rolled through the area.
Power outages have been reported in Dearborn, Dearborn Heights and Garden City.
