Crisler Center Hosting Watch Party Tonight
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WWJ) - What's the next best thing to being in Atlanta for the game tonight? How about watching it with several thousand friends on campus?
There's a watch party at Crisler Center and it's free for all Michigan students, faculty and staff with your M-card. It's $5.00 for the public, with proceeds going to the Athletic Department Scholarship Fund. The doors open at 7:30 with concessions, interactive displays and giveaways during timeouts.
Anyone on or around campus will notice a bigger police presence on campus tonight. That's according to Campus Police Spokesperson Diane Brown.
"We expect that people will be respectful of other people and of property," Brown said. "We expect that folks can celebrate without interfering with other people."
Ann Arbor Police will have more police on patrol as well.
You can hear tonight's NCAA championship game on WWJ Newsradio 950, with the pre-game starting at 8:30.
