Corrections Agent Suspended After Fatal Attack On Family
FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ/AP) - A probation agent has been suspended after the 19-year-old he was assigned to monitor was arrested in the baseball bat beating death of his father and attack on other family members in Farmington Hills.
According to reports, court records shows Tucker Cipriano, who is expected to be in court on Wednesday, failed to attend a meeting and last reported to his corrections agent on March 15. He'd been ordered to report twice each month after being placed on probation for drug convictions.
Cipriano and another man, who has not yet been names, are currently behind bars in Sunday night's murder of of 52-year-old Robert Cipriano in the family's home.
Robert Cipriano was business services director for Dearborn Public Schools. His 51-year-old wife and 17-year-old son were also critically injured. They remained hospitalized on Tuesday.
Tucker Cipriano had recently been kicked out of his family's house following several run-ins with police. Police said he may have returned to the home looking for money.
