Comcast Unveils All New Grand Rapids Xfinity Store
GRAND RAPIDS -- Comcast Corp. Friday held a ribbon-cutting and customer appreciation event to announce the grand opening of its new Xfinity store in Grand Rapids.
The first Xfinity store in West Michigan, the nearly 3,100 square-foot store is designed entirely around the needs of customers and provides consumers with an opportunity to explore, learn and interact directly with the latest Xfinity products and services.
Comcast representatives, local officials, community leaders and special guests celebrated the Xfinity Store grand opening and customer appreciation event.
"The new Xfinity store provides a one-stop resource where our customers not only can experience Xfinity products and services firsthand, but they can also test-drive our latest technology offerings in a comfortable, interactive environment," said Tim Collins, senior regional vice president of Comcast's Heartland Region. "With an open, welcoming design and enhanced customer experience, our new store combines a new attitude and look to deliver the Comcast standards of innovation, speed and value that our customers both love and expect from our products."
The new Grand Rapids Xfinity store is at 1971 E. Beltline Ave. NE, Suite 116, in the Knapp's Corner development. Featuring fully interactive touchscreen displays, the user-friendly environment enables customers to learn about products and indulge in the complete Xfinity experience. In addition to a 3D viewing experience and comfortable seating areas, customers can use an iPad to try out Comcast's new Xfinity Home security system, the Xfinity TV app and other popular apps. Customers can also experience Xfinity TV, test-drive Xfinity Internet speeds, and learn more about Comcast Business products and services at various kiosks throughout the center.
The store also offers personalized service and assistance from trained and knowledgeable sales consultants, and new time-saving offerings including a self-service kiosk for quick bill pay and an intuitive queuing system that allows customers to both explore and be entertained instead of waiting in line for service.
The Grand Rapids Xfinity store is open weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
