Colts Player Says Suh Laughed, Danced Around Justice After Concussion
DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Still battling the dirtiest player label after consecutive Thanksgiving Day game incidents, the Lions' Ndamukong Suh allegedly pointed, laughed and danced around a player Sunday who was lying on the field with a concussion.
Indianapolis Colts right tackle Mike McGlynn told the Indianaopolis Star Suh mocked Winston Justice when he was knocked down after cornerback Dan Carey intercepted Andrew Luck in the fourth quarter.
Detroit lost to the Colts in a dramatic finale; Justice had a concussion from the play.
McGlynn allegedly confronted Suh after the play -- though it wasn't caught on camera. Suh was the only Lions' player who left the locker room immediately after the game.
"Totally ignorant on their part, just childish stuff," McGlynn told the newspaper. "We're all battling out there; I don't know if the hit was legal or not, but clearly he was hurt, and they're out there dancing and pointing at him and laughing. Just blatant disrespect. They're good players, but there's no room for that. It's disgusting, really."
Suh stomped the arm of Packers' QB Evan Dietrich-Smith on Thanksgiving Day 2011, and many thought he kicked Texans' QB Matt Schaub during this year's Thanksgiving Day game. He wasn't suspended for the Schaub incident, with both Matthew Stafford and coach Jim Schwartz saying it was clearly accidental.
After the Schaub controversy, Schwartz heaped high praise on Suh for avoiding penalties this year and said he had "nothing to address" with Suh about his play.
