LIVONIA (WWJ) - Graduating seniors and alumni from area Michigan colleges and universities have a valuable opportunity to meet with potential employers at the bi-annual Michigan Collegiate Job Fair on Friday.

The fair, which is sponsored by Eastern Michigan University and supported by the Michigan Career Educator and Employer Alliance, is one of the state's largest and longest running job fair events focusing on liberal arts, business and technology.

Ebony Jones, a senior corporate relations manager with EMU, said employers at the expo will be looking to hire new graduates and alumni for entry-level positions in business, engineering, sciences, computer science, liberal arts, human services and allied health.

Participating employers at the fair will include Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, Compuware, Dearborn Police Department, Department of Veterans Affairs, Farmers Insurance, Health Plan of Michigan, IRS, Quicken Loans and several State of Michigan departments.
