Ingenex develops Web site for Emerson School: Ann Arbor-based Ingenex Digital Marketing said Wednesday it has been working with the Emerson School on a redesign of its new Web site. Emerson, a Michigan independent school, hired the Internet marketing firm for its expertise in search engine optimization, social media marketing and Web site design. Coinciding with the website launch, Emerson will also release a revitalized social media presence including Facebook, Twitter and Flickr that will encourage interaction between the school, its alumni and the Southeast Michigan community. With the goal of creating a user-friendly information destination, the Emerson School Web site features a walkthrough of the admissions process, access to curriculum and upcoming programs, online video tours and social media integration. Ingenex placed an emphasis on search engine optimization to increase Emerson's online visibility. Ingenex used the Drupal content management system to create a customized Web design that easily communicates information to parents, students, alumni and the community. The site will include parent resources, a gallery of student work, athletic and academic calendars and child care information. Ingenex customized a social media marketing strategy to achieve Emerson's goal of building a digital community of engaged users.
