Aqaba will also provide hosting, support and e-mail marketing. The new site will feature user friendly navigation as well as providing her supporters with up-to-date information on her campaign. Visitors will have the ability to contact Marilyn Lane directly through the site, streamlining the communication channel along with the ability to follow her progress. Lane is a business development representative and chair of the alternative energy division at Roncelli Inc. At Roncelli, Marilyn was responsible for creating a diversity plan for projects related to wind, solar, bio and green builds. In addition she covers aerospace development projects for the firm. As Mayor of Fraser, Lane was instrumental attracting 700 new jobs and more than $100 million in investment including locating Faurecia from Europe to Fraser. Marilyn balanced four straight city budgets while maintaining taxes and not cutting any city services. In 2007 a Plante Moran audit stated that Fraser was in "the best financial shape in a decade." Recently, voters overwhelmingly supported Lane for the Macomb County Charter Commission. She was elected co-chair by her peers on the commission where she led the way in a bipartisan effort to streamline county government by cutting the number of county commissioners from 26 to 13.
