Cleveland Not Over Lebron Yet
By: Bill McAllister
Lebron James and the Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in five games to capture the NBA Championship. As everyone knows, it was Lebron's first and if you think the city of Cleveland isn't still stinging over Lebron James 'decision' to seek greener pastures in Miami, think again. Cleveland Mayor Frank Johnson wished Lebron well by saying, ""LeBron James is one of the most talented players in the world" -- adding, "Congratulations to him and I wish him well in the future." But not everyone thinks like the mayor of the scorned city on Lake Erie. Check out Cleveland's WEWS weatherman Mark Johnson's frustration as he tries coping with the fact that Lebron and the Miami Heat have just won the NBA Championship.
Cleveland Cavs owner Dan Gilbert, who famously wrote an open letter to Cavs fans everywhere declaring, "I personally guarantee that the Cleveland Cavaliers will win an NBA Championship before the self-titled former 'King' wins one"...well, he went to his Twitter page after Miami's victory and said, ""Great NBA season. Enjoyed playoffs. Congratulations to Miami & OKC for an exciting Finals. Back to work on next weeks promising Cavs draft".
Hmm, I wonder if he'll ever congatulate Lebron personally? Nah!
