Chrysler, Ford To Recruit Talent at ESD's Job Fair
SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) -- Chrysler is the latest company to join the growing list of exhibitors at The Engineering Society of Detroit Engineering and Technology Job Fair on Monday, Sept. 9 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
As of Wednesday, more than 40 companies and almost 2,000 jobs will be available in a variety of areas, including all disciplines of engineering, architecture, IT, defense, and more. This shows the need for qualified talent in Michigan, especially in the STEM areas -- science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Chrysler and Ford will be joined by major Michigan companies looking for applicants, including Link Engineering, DTE Energy, Denso, Consumers Energy, Yazaki North America, and many others.
The cost to attend the job fair is $15 for non-ESD members (includes a one-year membership to ESD -- offer good for new first time members only); the event is free for ESD members.
