Christmas Day Theft At Car Dealership
Thieves didn't take a break for Christmas at one car dealership in northern Oakland County.
Oakland County Sheriff deputies from the Independence Township substation were called to Bowman Chevrolet on Dixie Highway Saturday afternoon for a "suspicious circumstances complaint."
Deputies found the windows of five Chevy Tahoes broken and the navigation systems stolen. There was no forced damage to the instrument panels. Each unit is worth $2,500, according to the sheriff's department.
An evidence technician was called to the scene and searched for finger prints.
The SUV's were secured inside the dealership after John Bowman went to the dealership.
Police don't have any suspects. Anyone with information should contact the Oakland County Sheriff's Department.
