Child Shot, Killed In Flint Following Argument
A tragic story in Flint, Tuesday, where police say a six-year-old boy is dead after being shot during an argument over money.
Jonaries Holden was hit by one of several shots fired at the car, Monday night, on Flint's west side. Investigators say the shooter pulled up alongside a car driven by the boy's father, and started arguing with him over the debt.
A warrant has been issued for DaVontrae Benton, suspected in the shooting.
The boy died at a Flint hospital. Mayor Dayne Walling called the child's death a "terrible tragedy."
No other injuries were reported.
