Chatman's Late 3 Sends Michigan Past No. 10 Indiana 72-69 [VIDEO]

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Kameron Chatman made a 3-pointer with 0.2 seconds left to give Michigan a 72-69 upset over No. 10 Indiana in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals on Friday.
Indiana couldn't get a final shot off after the referees put time back on the clock following a replay review.
It was only the second field goal Chatman made and it came right in front of the Wolverines' bench. It sent Michigan (22-11) into Saturday's semifinals against either No. 13 Purdue or surprising Illinois.
Zak Irvin led the Wolverines with 17 points and Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman had 15.
Troy Williams scored 16 and Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell had 14 for the Big Ten regular-season champs. The Hoosiers (25-7) have reached the semis only once since 2007.
Indiana appeared to have the game in hand when it took a 66-61 lead with 2:36 left. But the Wolverines rallied to score the final six points.
The Hoosiers had opportunities to pull away late.
They failed. After missing two free throws down the stretch, Michigan's Duncan Robinson hit a 3 with 46 seconds left to cut the deficit to three.
And after an Indiana turnover with 19.9 seconds left, Michigan went down the floor, did not call timeout and then found Chatman in the corner for his eighth 3 of the season.
The loss ended Indiana's four-game winning streak.

In the only previous meeting between the teams this season, Indiana beat Michigan 80-67. Though the final score didn't reveal the extent of the blowout, the game swung on the Hoosiers' 28-0 run. When that run didn't come Friday, it was almost even. There were 18 lead changes and 12 ties, and neither team led by more than six. The biggest run by either team was a 9-0 spurt by Michigan midway through the second half.

Wolverines: Irvin, Indiana's 2013 Mr. Basketball, made his first 3, giving him 500 career 3-point attempts. He now has 503. ... Coach John Beilein moved within three wins of tying Bill Frieder (191) for the second most wins in school history. ... Michigan outscored Indiana 22-13 off turnovers. ... The Wolverines have won only three of their last seven and two of those came against Northwestern.
Hoosiers: Made only four 3s, giving Indiana 316 this season. The Hoosiers need four to break the school record, which was set last season. ... Ferrell played in his 134th career game, leaving him one short of Jordan Hulls' school record (135) for games played. ... Max Bielfeldt, the only player in league history to win championships with two different schools, had seven points and three rebounds against his former team. ... Robert Johnson sat out again with a sprained left ankle.
