Certara Announces Acquisition Of Brighton's Great Lakes Drug Development
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (WWJ) -- Certara, a provider of software and scientific consulting services to improve productivity and decision-making from drug discovery through drug development, today announced that it has acquired drug development consulting firm Great Lakes Drug Development Inc., based in Brighton.
Both companies possess expertise in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic analysis, project management, and pharmacometric modeling and simulation. GLDD focuses on early development work, while Certara's products and services span the entire drug development continuum.
Financial details about the transaction have not been disclosed.

The GLDD office in Brighton will become the sixth in Certara's worldwide consultancy operations including 75 Ph.D. staff in Sunnyvale, Calif.; Cary, N.C.; Montreal, Canada; Tokyo, Japan; and Sheffield, England.
