Casting Call For Ryan Gosling Film To Be Shot In Detroit
DETROIT (CBS DETROIT) - A film that will be directed by Hollywood leading man Ryan Gosling is scheduled to begin shooting in Detroit in March.
"How to Catch a Monster" is described as a modern-day fairytale that combines elements of horror and suspense, set against the backdrop of a "vanishing city."
Gosling, who also wrote the screenplay, reportedly scouted southeast Michigan locations for the movie last summer. The producers have applied for the state's tax incentives.
There is an online casting call for several key parts. Those interested in being a part of the film can submit videos and compete for the roles of "Bones," "Frankie" and "Face."
