Casino Gambling Coming To Toledo
DETROIT (WWJ) - Gamblers from the tri-state area, including Michigan, will soon have a few more options when deciding where to play the slots or roulette the night away.
Voters in Ohio approved one casino in each of the state's four largest cities in 2009. The first of these approved casinos will be completed in Toledo in the spring of 2012.
Ohio leaders are hoping to cut into the traffic and the cash that flows out of their state and into the Michigan and Windsor casinos.
The new casino called Hollywood Casino Toledo will be located off of I-75 and will be non-smoking.
